The new PS-GX200 for the CLC5151 & CLC4040, uses the new Fiery System 8 release 2 platform.  This was first introduced for the imagePRESS C7000VP, and provides a number of key benefits for Production, Graphic Arts and Office users.

Using the easy-to-use interface of the EFI Driver and Job Properties combined, with support for PDF 1.7 (Acrobat 8), 64-Bit, Vista and Mac Intel standards, means that whatever environment the CLCs are being introduced, they'll be able to handle the most demanding workloads.

Productivity enhancements are achieved by a new hardware platform - Intel Core Duo, 2.13GHz, with 1GB Ram - which means file processing is 131% faster in Production environments, 201% faster in Graphic Arts, and 49% faster in Office environments.  This achieves the End-user's goals of streamlining document workflow, and more efficient utilisation of available resources.

Additionally, the PS-GX200 supports all Variable Data Printing languages, included legacy languages, and has improved calibration and colour control features, to achieve the best colour fidelity.
